So far this golf season has been a rough start with our first two tournament being cancelled and our last one rained out! Most players were able to only get nine holes in. However, the club has still been active.
- The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) tournament held 7 June at Stone Ridge GC was a success. The National Association of Letter Carriers #1433 were able to donate $2100.00 to the association.
- We (Veterans Golf Club) contributed about $850.00 in prizes and food towards the event.
- We have also dedicated $500.00 to the Medford American Legion Post 15 towards setting up their telephone system.
- The golf clinic for our local veterans has yet to begin due to the Coronavirus restrictions put in place at the VA Facility. When the restrictions are lifted, we are ready to go.
Hope our Father’s Day tournament at Quail Point the 20th of June will be our first normal tournament.
See you there!
Best to everyone.
